The 12C sports a 6.71″ HD+ LCD and packs a 5,000 mAh battery that draws power through a microUSB port. The smartphone features three cameras – a 5MP selfie shooter on the front, with a 50MP primary camera on the rear joined by a depth unit.
The rest of the Redmi 12C’s highlights include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC (market dependent), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Redmi 12C has four color options, and the event page set up by Xiaomi on its official Indian website confirms all four will be launched in India.
Redmi will also launch the freshly announced Redmi Note 12 4G in India on March 30. You can read our Redmi Note 12 4G announcement coverage to learn more about it.
