Recently, there was some confusion about the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 with two conflicting reports on its features. The new CE model wasn’t spared from this uncertainty either – leaked AIDA64 screenshots revealed some specs back in January, but now there is a new report on the OnePlus Nord CE 3, which paints a different picture.
The new CE will have a 6.72” 120Hz FHD+ display and it will allegedly be an AMOLED panel rather than LCD as claimed earlier. Also, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 782G, according to MySmartPrice’s sources, not the SD 695. The chipset will be paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB storage.

The differences continue – the main camera is now said to feature the 50MP Sony IMX890 rather than a 108MP sensor. It will be paired with an 8MP ultra wide and 2MP macro modules, plus a 16MP selfie camera.
Finally, the Nord CE 3 will have a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, claim the sources.
Last month there was a leak with OnePlus Nord 3 (non-CE) specs too – that one is said to have a Dimensity 9000 chipset, 6.72” AMOLED display (120Hz), 50+8+2MP rear cameras and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging. Other than the chipset, this sounds quite close to the Core Edition model. By the way, the Ace 2V will also run on the Dimensity 9000, but it’s not clear whether the 2V and Nord 3 will be identical or not (there are some unconfirmed differences).
Anyway, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to be unveiled in July, the Nord 3 should launch around the same time (perhaps even at the same event). The Ace 2V will be announced on March 7 (Tuesday).
