Father-son duo Rob and John Owen Lowe are joining forces in Netflix’s new series Unstable.
The 58-year-old and 28-year-old actors will play a father-son pair in the upcoming comedy show, which they also produced and co-created with Victor Fresco.
Unstable also stars Sian Clifford, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch.

Here’s a synopsis: Ellis Dragon (Rob) is a charismatic, biotech maverick who’s revered for his innovative ideas and his relentless pursuit to make a difference in the world. But despite his larger-than-life persona, he’s struggling to keep his emotions in check. Enter his son Jackson Dragon (John Owen) – the complete opposite of his father. Now faced with the daunting task of saving his father’s faltering company and mending their fractured relationship, Jackson must also grapple with the impossible task of breaking free from the shadow of a man who looms larger than life. Can Jackson rise to the challenge and help his father while forging his own path, or is it a hopeless endeavor?
Unstable premieres on Netflix on March 30.
Fans will likely remember that Rob and John Owen have previously shared the screen in Netflix’s Christmas in the Wild. They also co-star in 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Netflix has already cancelled several shows in 2023 and announced plans for the future of others.
