Earlier today, Samsung detailed the top features you can expect the upcoming stable release of One UI 5 based on Android 13 to pack. While we wait for that to make its way to phones left and right, the company is carrying on with its public beta program, now allowing four more devices to access it.
We’re talking about the Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip3, Galaxy Note20, and Note20 Ultra. These four handsets can now taste the upcoming One UI 5 with Android 13, both in the US and Samsung’s home market of Korea.
As usual, if you have one of the phones and want to test One UI 5 beta, you need to enter the Samsung Members app and then tap on the huge banner that will show up at the top, which is advertising the beta program. You then enter some details and after that you should be presented with an over-the-air update to the beta build normally within minutes – at most you’d have to wait a few hours for it to arrive.
One UI 5 comes with everything Google packed into Android 13, along with stackable widget support, new color options for dynamic themes, new gestures for split screen multitasking, a better My Files app, a new Bixby Text Call feature letting you partake in calls by texting, Modes for customized device settings based on scenarios, support for video wallpapers on the lock screen, and a new Smart Suggestions widget.
