A report from last month suggested that Sony may be phasing out its Xperia V series, leaving the Xperia 1 as the only high-end smartphone line from the Japanese maker. A new case listing for what appears to be the Xperia 5 VI suggests otherwise.
Xperia 5 VI Spigen Rugged Armor case
A German online retailer listed a Spigen Rugged Armor case for the Xperia 5 VI. The accompanying images show the case on the device with some subtle differences compared to the same case on last year’s Xperia 5 V.

One notable difference is the Xperia 5 VI’s LED flash which sits between the cameras is larger than on the outgoing Xperia 5 V. The renders also show a headphone jack on the top, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a volume rocker on the right-hand side but no shutter button. The display sizes and aspect ratios seem to match.
Last year’s Xperia 5V launched in September which leaves enough time for Sony to begin teasing its upcoming Xperia 5 VI.
Thanks, Josip, for the tip
