Caleb Coffee is recovering from serious injuries after falling from a cliff, straight into a bed of hot lava rocks.

The 18-year-old TikTok star recently moved to Hawaii and was on a hike with friends on Wednesday afternoon (August 16) when then accident happened.

“The medics and everyone is telling us he’s lucky to be alive and is one of the strongest out there,” his family wrote on his GoFundMe page.

They continued, “He slipped and fell off a 60-80ft cliff onto lava rock and Caleb got airlifted to the emergency room.”

The family doesn’t yet know the full extent of Caleb‘s injuries as they were told the injuries will likely pop up over the next few weeks. For now, they know he has a spinal fracture, broke femur, elbow, wrist and multiple gouges and burns throughout his entire body. He also hasn’t been able to hold down food.”

Caleb did not have medical insurance at the time of the accident, so his family is hoping to raise $100,000 for his care.

Caleb has 11 million followers on TikTok and 1 million followers on Instagram. He posted the below video last month.
