Jon M. Chu, the director of the upcoming Wicked movies, is speaking out with updates from the set of the films.
The 43-year-old filmmaker – who is the director films like Step Up, Crazy Rich Asians, and In the Heights – took to his Twitter account this past week to talk about working on the upcoming musical.
The long-awaited film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical will be split into two parts. The first part will be released on December 25, 2024 and the second part will hit theaters on December 25, 2025.
Nearly the full cast of the movies has been announced already!
