A few days ago, a new Xiaomi budget phone, model number 22120RN86C popped up on the TENAA certification site. We already examined its photos and overall design, similar to the Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C.
Xiaomi 22120RN86C – possibly the Redmi 11A
Now TENAA has also provided some key specs for what we believe will be the Redmi 11A. The phone measures 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.77mm and weighs 192 grams. That body of its houses a 6.7-inch 1650 x 720-pixel HD display and a large 5,000 mAh battery.
It is powered by ab undisclosed octa-core chipset, clocked at 2.0 GHz, and according to TENAA, the Redmi 11A will have a whole bunch of memory and storage configurations. RAM apparently starts at just 2GB, with 4GB,6GB and 8GB versions also available. Storage starts at 32GB, with 64GB, 128GB and even 256GB available as options.
For cameras, the Redmi 11A has a 50MP main snapper on the back and a 5MP center-mounted selfie on the front.
There is no word on pricing yet, but we expect the Redmi 11A will get a quiet launch sometime in December, and an MSRP of just over EUR 100 – which is about as cheap as full-fledged Android devices come these days.
